Ylang in Gold was introduced to the public in 2012, part of the COLLECTION JEWEL. Ylang-ylang plays a special role in Micallef's recent releases. The notes of this fragrance were kept a secret until launch.

Ylang in Gold is composed of a balanced floral bouquet warmed by sunny notes evoking the islands: ylang-ylang, sandalwood, coconut and vanilla. Applied to the skin, Ylang in Gold leaves a delicate and refined pearly-golden veil that shimmers on the skin. Available as 100 ml EDP The nose behind this fragrance is Jean-Claude Astier.

The best of M. Micallef

The first time I tried Ylang in Gold, I thought it was nice enough. Each time I've tried it, I've liked it more and more. Now I adore it. I don't know if it has aged or if my sense of it has changed. Either way, it's a delicate, smooth ylang ylang made even more beautiful by the sweetness of vanilla and the addition of sandalwood. I don't smell the banana custard note that some people describe, but I get the reference. The coconut is not discernible, with no sunscreen vibe at all whatsoever. The tiniest amount lasts all day. This perfume is a 10 out of 10 for me.
